What are the advantages of zirconia wear-resistant industrial ceramic rods

Ceramic rod using zirconia or alumina as a production material, relative to similar products, the advantage is quite significant, it has good wear resistance, then what are the advantages of zirconia ceramic rod.

Zirconia ceramic rod has the properties of drop resistance, wear resistance, super hard, high temperature resistance, fire resistance, super corrosion resistance, never rust, insulation and so on. It can be widely used in semiconductor, new energy, medical equipment, aerospace, mechanical manufacturing, battery materials and other industries, and can also be widely used in electric power, metallurgy, mining, coal, chemical and other industries as a corrosive medium, is an ideal wear-resistant ceramic rod.

Advantages of zirconia ceramic rod:

1. Resist beating.
2. Wear resistance - suitable for places where heavy objects are placed or where frequent cleaning is required.
3. Easy to clean - tight impermeable surface, so that dust is not easy to adhere to it.
4. Moisture resistance - no water absorption.
5. Uv resistance - not affected by weather changes, whether sun or rain.
6. Fire resistance.
7. Anti-static - For anti-static materials, very suitable for dust-free areas.
8. Corrosion resistance - chemical corrosion resistance, anti-acid, anti-oxidation toluene and similar substances.

A zirconia ceramic rod is a sensor that uses a zirconia concentration potential to measure oxygen content. Its core zirconia tube is placed in a micro-electric furnace and is located on top of the entire probe. Zirconia tube is a stable zirconia ceramic sintered by mixing zirconia with a certain amount of yttrium oxide or calcium oxide and sintering at high temperature. Because its cubic lattice contains oxygen ion holes, it is a good industrial ceramic plate oxygen ion conductor at high temperatures.

Because of this characteristic, when the oxygen content on both sides of the zirconia ceramic rod is different at a certain high temperature, it is a typical oxygen concentration battery, in this battery, air is the reference gas, which is located in the inner and outer electrodes respectively with the flue gas.

Under certain high temperature conditions (generally 600℃), a certain amount of flue gas oxygen content will have a corresponding potential output. Under ideal conditions, its potential value corresponds to the oxygen content in the high temperature region.

When the measured flue gas concentration of zirconia ceramic rod is the same as the reference gas concentration, the output potential e value is 0mv. However, in practical applications, the actual conditions and field conditions of zirconium tubes are not ideal.
