With technological advancements, ceramic processing technology is no longer limited to the most primitive techniques. In the production of zirconia ceramic pin gauges, the most commonly used technique is atmospheric pressure sintering. Nowadays, in addition to atmospheric pressure sintering, there are also hot pressing sintering and hot isostatic pressing sintering.

1. Hot Pressing Sintering: Continuous hot pressing sintering greatly improves production output. However, this technology has a limitation: the high cost of equipment and molds significantly restricts the length of the finished products.
2. Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP): Using high-temperature, high-pressure gas as the pressure transmission medium, HIP offers the advantage of uniform heating in all directions, allowing for the sintering of various complex shapes. Compared to other technologies, the performance of zirconia ceramic pin gauges produced using HIP is significantly improved. Therefore, some specialized zirconia ceramic pin gauge parts are sintered using HIP.
